The independent label Movic Records celebrated its 25th anniversary with a memorable event at the Foro Totalplay in Mexico City. Founded in 1999 by Francisco 'Kiko' Lobo de la Garza, Movic Records has been pivotal in promoting artists such as Panda (PXNDX), Los Claxons, and Insite, establishing itself as a prominent platform for rock and pop in Spanish.
At the event, iconic talents and key figures from the music and entertainment industry gathered, highlighting the label's commitment to the evolution of the independent scene in the country. Los Claxons, Serna, Dani Lima, and Doble Filo performed live, captivating the audience with their music.
In addition to the participation of the band Serna, the event featured performances by Dani Lima and Doble Filo, two musical promises presenting their interesting proposals for the first time. To close the evening, Kiko Lobo delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude to the media, the industry, and collaborators who have been part of Movic Records' journey, stating that the best is yet to come.
The night culminated with a special appearance by DJ Kiko 'Wolf' (Kiko Lobo), who reaffirmed his passion for music as his essence and driving force. Movic Records is part of the Movic Group, which includes Movic Films and El Cielo Recording Studio, the latter recognized as one of the most prestigious recording studios in Mexico.
With two and a half decades of experience, Movic Records reiterates its commitment to music, supporting both emerging talents and established artists, and betting on the continuous evolution of the independent music scene in the country. The event also included the presence of prominent representatives from the media, the music industry, as well as influencers and talents such as Mario and Daniel Bautista, Alex Strecci, Rayito (Ryan Hoffman), Yuleisy Coca, Olga Mafud, and Maty Álvarez, among others.
Each of the artists had the opportunity to perform in front of the audience, especially highlighted by the performance of Los Claxons who shared their new single 'Buscando Remedio', now available on all platforms.
